Chandigarh University to host Smart India Hackathon-2022 grand finale from Aug 25

Mangaluru: Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management will host the fifth edition of the public- position software edition grand homestretch of Smart India Hackathon( SIH) from August 25. 

 According to the organisers, it's a 36- hour hackathon and the council has been named as a nodal centre from among 75 sodalities across India. “ A aggregate of 25 brigades from across India will share and give the result to problem statements listed by the ministry of pastoral development, Government of India, in the areas of husbandry, food tech, and pastoral development. A aggregate of nine problems have been listed out for the hackathon, ” said Manjappa Sarathy, director of exploration and consultancy, Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management. He was addressing journalists on Tuesday to give out the event details.

 SIH- 2022 is being organised as part of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav fests by the ministry of education’s Innovation Cell and the All- India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. About 200 scholars, conforming of 25 brigades, from colorful sodalities are sharing in the grand homestretch. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is anticipated to interact with the actors on August 25. 

 SIH is a civil action to give scholars with a platform to break pressing problems of the government, ministries, departments, diligence, and other organisations. SIH has been accredited as the world’s biggest open invention model and it inculcates the culture of product invention and problem- working among scholars.
