Presidential Election 2022 Result Live Updates, July 21 Voting for the Presidential pates concluded on Monday with over 99 per cent of,796 eligible pickers, including 771 MPs and,025 MLAs, taking part in the process.

Presidential Election 2022 Result Live Updates: After 3rd round of counting, NDA seeker Droupadi Murmu crossed 50 per cent mark securing her palm in the presidential battle against Opposition designee Yashwant Sinha by a huge periphery. Of the,219 valid votes counted so far, Murmu has bagged,161, while Sinha got,058. 

 Sinha took to Twitter to compliment Murmu over her palm. “ I join my fellow citizens in felicitating Smt Droupadi Murmu on her palm in the Presidential Election 2022. India hopes that as the 15th President of the Republic she functions as the Custodian of the Constitution without fear or favour, ” he wrote. 

 

 Going by the support extended by colorful parties, National Democratic Alliance( NDA) seeker Droupadi Murmu had a clear edge over Opposition’s Yashwant Sinha in the election. Voting for the Presidential pates concluded on Monday with over 99 per cent of,796 eligible pickers, including 771 MPs and,025 MLAs, taking part in the process.

 Fests in Dooars tea auditoriums in expectation of Draupadi Murmu's palm 

 fests broke out in the tea auditoriums in Dooars area of north Bengal on Thursday in expectation of Droupadi Murmu, the NDA presidential seeker, winning the presidential bean. 

 The tea plucker, substantially women from the santhal community to which Murmu belongs, lined up their baskets of tea leaves on the road in the tea auditoriums after their duty hours, sang and danced together to express their joy over the prospect of a ethnical woman assuming the loftiest indigenous post in the country. 

 The labourers are paid by the tea theater authorities after they deposit their baskets of plucked leaves. 

 An inviting maturity of the tea workers in the Dooars are tribals who had migrated from Chhota Nagpur, now in Jharkhand, about a century agone.

PM, elderly ministers likely to meet Murmu after her anticipated palm 

 Prime Minister Narendra Modi, some elderly members of his Cabinet and BJP principal J P Nadda are likely to meet NDA presidential seeker Droupadi Murmu on Thursday evening following her anticipated palm in the bean. 

 Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi and Leader of the House in Rajya Sabha Piyush Goyal will also be meeting to compliment her, sources said. 


 Modi is the Leader of the House in Lok Sabha.
